ICfHE is an independent, international and non-governmental organization of diverse institutions which was founded in 2002. EMUI is wholly owned by the Euromanagement Institute, Denmark, which is duly registered with the The Danish Commerce and Companies Agency. Private institutions without public funding may operate legally without approval or accreditation by Danish authorities. However, if they want to make their students eligible for state study grants they must abide by an accreditation procedure, which is not the aim of EMUI.
